HONG THAI PACKAGING CO., LTD., or known as “Hong Thai,” is a manufacturer of corrugated cardboard boxes, packaging boxes, and postal boxes. With the experience of the management team and over 42 years of service in the packaging industry, along with a skilled and specialized team, the company has succeeded in designing and manufacturing corrugated paper sheets, offset printed corrugated boxes, vegetable and fruit boxes, general corrugated cardboard boxes, shockproof paper pulp (PULP MOLD), egg cartons, paper pallets, and paper cups.
We also emphasize the quality of our packaging work, ensuring it meets international standards, improving production processes, and providing comprehensive services. We focus on developing the capabilities of our personnel, machinery, and production equipment to stay up to date.
We operate 3 production lines for corrugated sheets and have modern water-based FLEXO printing machines, including Pre Print and Post Print systems, OFFSET printing machines, corrugated laminating machines, and DIE CUT machines, allowing us to provide complete packaging services for our customers in the paper packaging sector.

.
In 1973 Mrs. Jiras Chinanun, also known as “Jae Hongs”, initiated the business of manufacturing and selling corrugated cardboard boxes. She started this venture alongside her elder and younger brothers after relocating from Surat Thani Province to Bangkok. The business was originally named Pitiphan Partnership (หจก. ปิติภัณฑ์) and operated from a single-unit commercial building located in Soi Chan 16, Alley 3. In its early stages, the company primarily focused on producing shoe boxes made from compressed hard paperboard (Jua Pang) and fruit boxes.
1985

In 1985, Mrs. Porntep Chinanun, also known as “Hia Noi”, established Fah Thai Paper Partnership (หจก. ฟ้าไทยเปเปอร์) with a registered capital of 500,000 THB to manufacture 2-ply corrugated paper.
During the initial phase, the company specialized in producing 2-ply corrugated rolls, primarily used for furniture wrapping, rattan chair packaging, and handcraft protection—particularly for exported carved wooden products. The business began in a rented warehouse spanning 200 square wah (800 sq.m.), located in Soi Chan 16, Alley 1 (behind TMB Bank, now TTB Bank).
1988

In 1988, Jae Hongs and Hia Noi co-founded Hongs Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 1 million THB under company number 171/2531. The company specialized in manufacturing 2-ply corrugated sheets in E, B, and A flutes and providing lamination services between Offset paper and 2-ply corrugated sheets. The factory was established at its current location, with the construction of a production and storage facility on over 2 rai (3,200 sq.m.) of land.
1991

In 1991, the company invested in an OFFSET ROLAND REKORD 4-color printing machine to expand its production capabilities for laminated boxes, catering specifically to ceramic packaging customers.
1993

In 1993, we invested in a Mitsubishi Langston Flexo 3-color machine with an integrated gluing process, which was considered highly advanced at the time, to support the expansion of the corrugated box production line.
1997

In 1997, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. increased its registered capital to 20 million baht.
1999

In 1999, the company invested in an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system from ISOFT TECHNOLOGY, a Thai company, to control operations in the factory.
2000-2002

From 2000 to 2002, the company invested in B, C, and E flute corrugated paper machines to support the expansion of the corrugated box production line.
2002

In 2002, the company invested in a sample cutting machine from Germany (Lasercomb) along with a program for cutting finished boxes. At that time, the machinery and program were considered a high-investment asset.
2003

In 2003, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. increased its registered capital to 40 million baht.
2004

In 2004, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. achieved total sales exceeding 100 million baht.
2006

In 2006, Hong Thai Pulp Mould Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 4.5 million baht to produce and sell molded paper products. The company’s concept was to add value to the products by utilizing paper waste from affiliated companies.
2008

In 2008, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. was certified with the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
2010

In 2010, Hong Thai Pulp Mould Co., Ltd. expanded its product range to include food-contact packaging made from paper.
2012

In 2012, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. invested in developing a testing laboratory (LAB) to test the strength of corrugated boxes and implemented a quality system for raw material inspection before production and post-production.
2013

In 2013, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. achieved total sales exceeding 500 million baht.
2016

In 2016, the company invested in a 6+1 color Flexo Roll to Roll (Pre-Print) printing machine.
2017

In 2017, Hong Thai Pulp Mould Co., Ltd. was certified with ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000:2005, GMP, and HACCP standards.
2018

In 2018, Hong Thai Packaging Co., Ltd. received FSC: COC certification and joined the Green Industry program of the Ministry of Industry, aiming to achieve Green Industry Level 3 status.
The company invested in upgrading its ERP system, including production, sales, warehouse, and quality management systems, with software from KIWI, a company from New Zealand.
Additionally, the company developed its testing laboratory (LAB) to meet ISO 17025 standards and invested in temperature and humidity control systems to comply with ISO standards.

In 2021, Hong Thai expanded its product range to include paper packaging for food and beverages under the brand Hong Thai Food Packaging.
2022

In 2022, Hong Thai Food Packaging received FSSC 22000:2005, GMP, and HACCP certifications.
